Rz. Cimicifugae Sheng Ma 1.5-9g Releases the Exterior, vents measles, clears Heat, and relieves toxicity, raises Yang and lifts sunken Qi.
With Chai Hu, for chronic dysenteric disorders, rectal prolapse and uterine prolapse due to Yang Deficiency.
With Dang Gui, raises the clear Qi, allowing turbidity to descend and moistening of the Intestines.
With Chai Hu and Huang Qi, for prolapse of internal organs.
Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, strengthens the Spleen, raises the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Stomach, promotes urination, reduces edema, promotes the discharge of pus, generates flesh, expels toxins and relieves numbness and pain.
With Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiency with chronic non-healing sores, numbness, painful obstruction and paresthesia.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 3-12g Raises Yang Qi.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g

Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, disperses Cold, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Huang Qi, for ulcerated abscesses with insufficient drainage or which drain a clear thin discharge.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 6-30g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity, reduces abscesses, dissipates clumps and clears Blood Heat.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 3-12g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability in the San Jiao, resolves Dampness, drains Damp-Heat, reduces swelling and invigorates the Blood.
With Mu Dan Pi, resolves Qi Level Stagnation leading to Heat and Heat in the Blood.
With Lian Qiao, for Heat remaining in the Heart channel with sores in the mouth or on the tongue and dark, scanty urine or urinary discomfort.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, clears Heat, cools the Blood and reduces swelling from sores and abscesses.

Sm. Coicis Yi Yi Ren 9-30g Strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness, clears Heat, expels pus and clears Damp-Heat.
Rz. Arisaematis Preparatum Zhi Tian Nan Xing 3-10g Dries Dampness, expels Phlegm, reduces swelling and alleviates pain.
